
At the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival there will be an exhibition of pictures by VGIK students
In the Central Exhibition Hall of Academy of Arts an exhibition of pictures of students of Art Department of All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography will take place. The event will take place in the framework of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival.
"In total, the exhibition will consist of more than 100 paintings. All of them will be devoted to Uzbekistan, its history, architecture, large-scale transformations taking place in the republic," said Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival and General Director of the Film Agency.
"The students of VGIKA will come to Uzbekistan to create pictures and they will write their works during 10 days. They will show the beauty of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and other cities of Uzbekistan," said VGIK Rector Vladimir Malyshev.
The participants of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival, guests and residents of the capital will be able to visit the exhibition.
