Today, on October 1st, a master class for young and upcoming filmmakers with famous actor Samy Naceri, who played the lead role (Daniel) in the movie "Taxi", went on at the Renaissance Cinema House. Like Frederic Diefenthal's the day before, the master class also started with humor.
Samy decided to keep up with his movie partner - an inspector - and said: "I can dance like my colleague Frederic Diefenthal," and danced to one of the famous songs from the movie Taxi.
In addition, Samy Naceri said that if he likes the offer, he will play the role regardless of everything, emphasizing the following points: "I'm just doing movies for regular people. For example, right now I'm starring in a big French-Algerian joint project about colonialism."
He also revealed that he socializes with the rest of the cast of the movie "Taxi" at events and is always in touch with Frédéric Diefenthal, who played the role of Emilien. The tandem is now running their own production company and working on interesting movies together.
When he was asked why he did not play in the fifth part of the movie "Taxi", he said: "The script of this part did not suit me and my friend Emilien, then there was a completely different team and did not suit the atmosphere. But if our old teammates (director, actors, producer, composer) will be involved and we like the philosophy of the movie, Frederick and I will definitely play a part in the sixth part."
At the end of the masterclass, he gave detailed answers to all the questions that fans had been asking. Samy Naceri will be in Samarkand for the closing ceremony of the Tashkent International Film Festival tomorrow.
