
Screenings of national films, or the upcoming film festival will reach every resident of the country
The upcoming XIV Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" will cover not only the most different countries of the world, but also the most different cities and regions of Uzbekistan. In addition to premier foreign films, the Uzbek audience will be offered to watch 12 significant domestic films: the social drama "Woman’s soul" (director J. Pulatova), the comedy "The wedding" (directed by S. Rasulov), a psychological drama "How to call you" (dir. Kamalova), "Woman’s fait" (dir. D. Masimov) a love story of Hamid Olimzhan and Zulfiya "Spring of love" (dir. I. Rasulov), dramas "Forgiveness" (dir. Z. Zhurayeva), "Talvasa" (dir. M. Inogonov), a lyrical comedy "Melon’s smell in Samarkand" by A. Khamrayev, "Say Papa" (dir. M. Abdulkhairova, a social drama "Endure" (directed by D. Yusupova), "If you have money" and a psychological thriller "101-Race" (directed by A. Shakhnazarov).
Geography of the premieres covers almost the entire country: demonstrations will be held in Bukhara, Urgench, Jizzakh, Karshi, Shakhrisabz, Andijan, Ferghana, Namangan, and Gulistan for local audiences and guests of the Film Festival.
The film festival will be held from 13-18th September this year.
