The delegation will include Yang Hongtao, general director of the Chinese Digital Film Showing Company and producer, Li Yue, deputy director of the distribution department of the China Film Distribution Corporation, and Liu Fang, head of the international department of the China Film Corporation.
Two PRC-produced films are scheduled to be screened during the film festival. They are the high-budget sci-fi action movie "Wandering Earth 2" and the drama "Thread of Life."
Last year, Chinese films were also shown at the Tashkent Film Festival, but Chinese representatives were unable to attend the event in person due to restrictions caused by the pandemic.
