Russian director Alexander Sokurov will take part in the Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”.
As part of the film festival, a new film by Alexander Sokurov, “The Fairy Tale,” will be shown. It is planned that Sokurov will hold a master class for students and participate in an open creative meeting.
Together with Sokurov, the producer of the film “Fairy Tale” Nikolai Yankin will come to Tashkent, who will also give a master class for students, and the famous Russian film critic, editor of the magazine “Seance” Vasily Stepanov.
Alexander Sokurov is a Soviet and Russian film director and screenwriter, People's Artist of the Russian Federation. Winner of many Russian and international film awards, including the Berlin, Cannes and Venice film festivals. Creator of such films as “Reading the Siege Book”, “Faust”, “Sun”, “Russian Ark”, “The Second Circle”.
