Press conference was held in  a small pavilion of  “Uzbekfilm " cinema concern

 

         A press conference was held within the framework of the Tashkent International Film Festival, which started today, before the days of documentary cinema. The deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abduhakimov touched upon the openness of the doors of Uzbekistan for lovers of cinema. Also, the General director of the Cinematography agency F.Abdukholikov noted that the film is an investment in the future, that we will reinvent the New Uzbekistan on the example of young and foreign directors. 

During the conference, guests from Italy, France, USA, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia spoke about the documentary industry.

At the current film festival, it is planned to hold 30 documentary film presentations. French documentaries such as" My uzbek dream", Turkey’s “Beruni”, “Great Maple of Turkic: Alisher Navoi”, US documentaries like" The last summer of childhood", "Uzbekistan is adorable to me " are planned to be shown.
