
Iranian filmmakers visit Tashkent
Yesterday at the Tashkent International Airport, a group of Iranian filmmakers were welcomed to attend at the XIII Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of The Silk Road ”
From September 28 to October 3, the XIII Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road” is held in a number of cities of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of this film festival, which is under the slogan “For Peace, Enlightenment and Development“, it is planned to hold” World Cinema days " with the participation of representatives of 13 countries. Iranian filmmakers are expected to take an active part in this event.
From the delegation of the Iranians who visited the Tashkent Film Festival this year, A.Tobish, Mirza Abulfazl Attar, Muhammad Mexdi Asgarpur, Ibrahim Mukhtari, Hamizu Qutbi, Alirizu Shahrukh, Hamid Tehroni, Ali Gaviton are well-known filmmakers. They will perform samples of their work in Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand.
The opening ceremony of the Film Festival “Iranian cinema days”, which is part of the program “World Cinema Days”, will be held on September 29 in the building of the Youth theater of Uzbekistan. One of the most famous Iranian creative directors, Ibrahim Mukhtari's “Leaf Of Life ”(2017), will begin the Iranian film show on the film festival's “World Cinema Days” program.
On September 30, the days of Iranian cinema will continue in the Youth theater of Uzbekistan, where the film will be shown by Director Maziyor Miri “Sarah and Saida” (2017) and another famous Iranian director Abulfazl Jalili “Nighty train”.
On September 30, Iranian guests will visit the city of Jizzakh. Before the film performance, a creative meeting with filmmakers is held. Then the feature film “Suhrob's dreams” by Ali Ghavitan, the director of famous Iranian films, will be shown.
On October 1, guests will visit Samarkand. A meeting with Iranian film Masters will be held at the “Youth Center” in Samarkand. The feature films “Heritage” (2020), “Motherhood” (2017) and “Diapason” will be presented here.
