At the ceremony, trailers of short films were shown

 

Today, 28 September, the opening ceremony of the competition was held at the “Uzbekfilm” concern. The ceremony was opened by the  Deputy prime minister Aziz Abduhakimov and the General director of the Cinematography agency Firdavs Abdukholikov.

The participants of the contest” Cinema in 5 days“, organized within the framework of the XIII Tashkent International Film Festival” Pearl of The Silk Road", completed the filming processes and reached the opening ceremony. They returned in 5 days, filming short films on the theme “The Great Silk Road” in different regions of the Republic.

For further information, the ranks of the international jury are attracted to world-renowned art figures, actors, scientists, art critics, the most prominent specialists of the industry.

Special awards have been awarded to each additional nomination for awarding young filmmakers who have won the honor of members of the international jury and the audience.

The winners of the competition held within the framework of the film festival will be awarded diplomas, statuettes, cash prizes.
