The Belarusian director Dmirty Semyonov is shooting his debut film” The Stars are waiting " in the Kashkadarya region.
The short film tells about the adventures of the belarusian astronomer with his lover, who came to Uzbekistan to conduct an internship in the field of Maydanak observatory in Qashqadarya. The heroes of the film Misha and Dasha not only witness the warm attitude of the people of our country to each other, but also realize how holy the family is and decide to get married. In the movie, a shepherd guy named Shokir invites a young man and a girl to his house. Because their car broke up the road of Maydanak. Through thiss, the hospitality of the Uzbek people is revealed. Azim Aytmetov, a representative of the Uzbekfilm team, accompanied by the Belarusian Dmitri Semyonov, said that the film is shot mainly in the city of Shakhrisabz, which is known as the green city.
