Uzbek artists accompanying foreign colleagues at film festivals

Small groups of directors, actors and cultural staff will be sent to each regional festival

At the same time, well-known artists of the capital gathered in the building of the Uzbek Cinematography Agency. The main purpose of this meeting is to organize the participation of Uzbek artists in the Tashkent International Film Festival, which will be held from September 28 to October 3.

According to Firdavs Abdukholiqov, director general of the Uzbekkino national  agency, contracts have already been signed with foreign artists visiting the festival. Uzbek artists will act as a bridge to meaningfully organize their visit to Uzbekistan and meet our art-loving people. It is expected that this international film festival will create a creative atmosphere for foreign and Uzbek filmmakers, as well as a basis for new cooperation.
