A meeting of the Republican Committee for the promotion of the further development of national cinematography, motion-picture companies and a cinema chains took place.

The purpose of the meeting was to ensure the high-quality implementation of the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during his visit to Uzbekfilm studio on November 20, 2020 and worded in the Protocol of the meeting with filmmakers under No. 92.

The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, in attendance were: Director General of the Cinema Agency Firdavs Abdukhalikov; First Deputy Director General Shukhrat Rizaev; Chief of Staff Eldar Yuldashev; Chairman of the Creative Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan Matyoqub Matchonov; filmmakers and other industry specialists. Representatives from regional offices participated through ZOOM video-conferencing platform.
