
The film Ilhak is being translated into different languages
Jakhongir Akhmedov's feature film Ilhak filmed by Ezgufilm studio at the request of the Cinema Agency is being translated into several languages.
The film is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II and tells the story of Zulfiya, a woman who sent her five children to the front.
Director Jakhongir Akhmedov spoke about the translation of the film into other languages:
'First of all, the film was translated into Russian. The first screening in Russian took place on May 19-22 as part of the Days of Uzbek Cinema in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Russian version of the film was very warmly received by our fraternal people. Now it is proposed to translate Ilhak into Kazakh, Turkmen, Tajik, Kyrgyz languages and to hold the premiere screening thereof. At present, Ezgufilm studio is engaged in the translation of the film into the Tajik language at the request of the Agency.'
So far, a Russian version with English subtitles is ready.
