Tajik cinema days started within the framework of” World Cinema Days", which is an important component of the XIII International Tashkent Film Festival "The Pearl of the Silk Road"

At the same time, with representatives of 14 countries, as well as Tajik filmmakers are expected to show their works in the film festival days.

The opening ceremony of “Tajikistan cinema days “ was held at the Alisher Navoi state academic grand theater. At the event, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, popular figures of cinema of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan spoke about the friendly relations between the two countries, prospects of cooperation in the field of cinema

”Tajikistan cinema days“ started with the film ”Rustam and Sukhrob", which was shot by the well-known director Boris Kimyogarov in 1971 year.

There will also be film performances of Boris Kimyogarov's “The Fate of poet” (1959), Daler Rahimov's “Air Safar” (2015), Nasir Saidov's “Teacher” (2014), Abdukarim Mashrabov's “Dance of Life” (2015).

Among the delegation, who visited the Tashkent Film Festival under the leadership of the chairman of the state institution “Tajikfilm” Mahmasaid Shahiyon, have such well-known creators: Sayram Isayeva, Zulfiya Sadigova, Mohpaykar Yorova, Mamadkarim Sahibzoda, Tillo Nekkadamov, Nasriddin Nuriddinov, Muhabbatkhon Sattorova, Iskandar Usmonov, Zaur Daxte, Akmal Abdullozoda, Komron Safarov, Khujastai Mirzovali.

”Tajikistan cinema  days” are also held in Andijan and Fergana regions. Guests from Tajikistan are expected to meet with film lovers and show their films in the cities, districts.

For further information that within the framework of the” Tajikistan cinema days” the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the state institution ”Tajikfilm” was signed a memorandum on the implementation of the film project “Navoi and Jomiy".
