The film festival was restored on the initiative of the head of our state
This International festival is expected to be held annually by the Uzbekistan Cinematography agency of. UzA informed it.
The International Film Festival, which is scheduled to be held on September 28th, lasts until October 3rd. A working group has been set up in order to cover the processes taking place in it more widely, to engage in propaganda and to prepare, disseminate information to the general public. More than 100 specialists operate in it.
Employee of the cinematography agency Dostonbek Rakhmatullaev expressed the following thoughts about this:
– The working group includes well-known journalists, film critics and art lovers. They distribute interviews and cautions given by popular filmmakers through social networks, in addition to daily training and assignments. It also organizes conversations from well-known actors of abroad. Under the leadership of the Director-general of the cinematographic agency Firdavs Abdukholikov, the relevant work is being carried out to hold the festival in a high spirit. It is also planned to conduct a project of young filmmakers, in which foreign and local filmmakers will be required to make a short documentary on the theme “The Great Silk Road”. The best examples of creativity will be awarded within the framework of the international event.
On behalf of Uzbekistan, the festival will be featured films “ Captivity (Tutqunlik)”, “One-day wedding(Bir kunlik to’y)”, “Smell of melon in Samarkand (Samarqandda qovun tarovati)”.
