
A documentary film “Sardoba Sabogi” is being shot
A documentary film Sardoba Sabogi, dedicated to the man-made disaster occurred on May 1, 2020 at the Sardoba reservoir in the Syrdarya region is being shot by the State Unitary Enterprise "Studio of Documentary and Newsreel Films" by order of the Cinema Agency of Uzbekistan.
Filming is taking place in Sardoba, Mirzaabad and Akalta districts of Syrdarya region. The film tells the story of the evacuated residents, the places where they stayed, servicemen, rescuers who participated in the evacuation and compatriots who helped the victims.

- The purpose of the film is to tell about patience and endurance, strong will, solidarity of our compatriots. Of course, the main idea of the film is that the tragedy that happened was a lesson for all of us to learn. Since the film Sardoba Sabogi is my first experience as a director at the Cinema Agency, we are trying to make it interesting to the audience. To achieve our goals, we rely on the knowledge and advice of our teachers and experienced colleagues, - says the director Abdusamad Salomov.
