
The closing ceremony of the Tashkent International Film Festival took place
The closing ceremony of the XIII Tashkent International Film Festival “Pearl of the Silk Road”, which started on September 28, was held at the newly opened Renaissance Hall in Tashkent. At the event participated representatives of international delegations, experts, filmmakers and young people
It was noted that at the beginning of the ceremony, a video was presented, which included film festival events, creative meetings, grand premieres, welcoming of foreign delegations and trips to the regions.
The winners of the "Cinema in 5 days" competition were awarded at the ceremony. In particular, the young director Sherzod Nazarov was given the Grand Prix for the best short film "On the Silk Road".
At the Tashkent International Film Festival, the winners in the nominations "For best male role" Tursunboy Pirjanov, "For best female role" Madina Mahmudova and others were awarded.

The winners of the contest "World Youth Cinema in New Uzbekistan" have also been announced. On the stage, they were presented with a special statuette and souvenirs of the XIII Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road".
It was noted that the guests were presented to a show-concert by well-known foreign and uzbek pop stars.
Earlier, at the “Uzbekfilm” building hosted a creative meeting with the famous french actor Gerard Depardieu and French film director Luc Besson.
Also, the feature film "Devyatayev" made by Russian filmmakers was presented to film fans, an agreement was signed with the Danmon Group, the films shot in the competition "Cinema in 5 days" were shown, as well as the premiere of operation “Mehr”, a screening of a film about an uzbek girl who participated in the Paralympic Games, and the World Cinema Days of the Tashkent International Film Festival. It has been reported that the program will be launched by Iranian director Ibrahim Mukhtari's film "Leaves of Life".
