Animation schools of Timur Bekmambetov will be opened in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, a new animated project by Timur Bekmambetov will be demonstrated about the adventures of the legendary hero of the East Khoja Nasriddin. In cooperation with the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan and the film studio "Kazakfilm" Timur Bekmambetov's film company “Baselevs” opens animated schools in our state. They are planned to later become full-fledged studios. Animated schools produce the cartoon "Hodja Nasriddin" and participate in other projects.
“People of Central Asia countries respect and love Hodja Nasriddin. They know that his homeland is Uzbekistan. We are delighted that we stood in the house of our favorite fairy-tale and hero and worked on an animated film about his adventures in the East, in Central Asia. Local painters will also be responsible for creating animations,” explained Timur Bekmambetov.
