In the nearest future, people learn that the Sun will soon go out, which will destroy the Solar System. To deal with that, the humanity launches a large-scale project called The Wandering Earth, the purpose of which is to move the Earth with the help of huge engines installed around the world and fly to look for a new haven. In 17 years, earthlings approach Jupiter. The gravity of the giant planet changes the trajectory of the Earth, causes global earthquakes and threatens the entire project for the survival of mankind.
