In Bangalore, popular actress Savitri is found unconscious by her youngest son and hospitalized where she spends a year in a coma. The incident attracts intense media attention, but Savitri’s original life and whereabouts remain unknown to the public. A newspaper editor appoints Madhuravani, a stuttering journalist, and Vijay Anthony, a photographer, to write Savitri’s biography. Madhuravani finds a letter written by Savitri in which she wants to take her son to someone named Shankaraiya. Madhuravani continues her research even after the editor has freed her from writing the memoirs and sneaks into Savitri’s house, overhearing her aunt talk about her childhood.
